Covid-19 Message – AN IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM US FOR EVERYONES SAFETY & ENJOYMENT
The safety and well-being of our guests and staff team members is our No.1 priority.
Not everything we are having to do to keep you and ourselves safe is ideal as it is enforced upon us by government legislation and is likely to cause issues that cause frustration to everyone.
Our staff are NOT Covid-19 specialists but we have been given instructions on how to implement certain measures and we have to carry out these instructions whether we or you like it or not … it’s just how it is for now!
Please be patient with our staff, it is not us that has caused this situation although we will be held responsible if instructions are not followed, so please do not challenge these rules and processes.
Follow all indicators around the building and respect the social distance ruling. If someone is about to cross your path just stop and let them through at a safe distance. Please respect that other individuals may have a more particular attitude to risk than you. These are difficult times for us all but with your support and cooperation we can all make this work and keep the pub open.
For the benefit of Track & Trace and for the safety of each other and the NHS, we will be required to ask for your details, and hold them for 21 days. They will be held securely and will not be shared for any purpose other than that of track and trace and will be destroyed after 21 days. Please work with us on this one.
Restrictions have changed since pubs were last open. These are the covid measures in place now.
Customers must order, eat, and drink whilst seated at a table outside. No Inside table service.
You must follow either the rule of six or be in a group or no more than two households present.
Every customer aged 16 and over will have to check in to NHS Track and Trace or give contact details to staff.
When not seated – for example being shown to a table or going to the toilet – customers should wear face masks (unless exempt) and observe social distancing.
These rules will be hopefully changing on the 17th May and then on the 21st June. All government guidelines will be followed by the Dog & Partridge during these dates. Please follow new rules when they are implemented.
Please note that our menus will be limited for the time being due to staff distancing in our kitchens, we hope to bring you more choices later.
Children must be always supervised and remain seated at your table and need to follow social distancing guidelines. Dogs are welcome at the Dog & Partridge but must be always kept on a close lead.
In the unlikely event that individuals do not conform or refuse to follow instruction from staff then that person will be asked to leave immediately and will not be served again, until the whole Covid-19 crisis is over, and we are back to normal.
Please be aware that it is government policy that Pub premises will be policed and observed by officials with powers to close our venue and we aim to avoid that at all costs, as we don’t think we could face another period of closure, and can only do so by following the governments rules.
Thank you for taking time to read these notes, we are all in the same boat and we will all be in danger if these instructions are not adhered to by us all.
